L'Attirail

L'Attirail was born in 1994, at first as a duo, with Xavier Demerliac playing the guitar and the brass instrument, and Jean-Stéphane Brosse playing the accordion and the piano. A third musician joined the project and the trio then wandered in Parisian Cafés. In 1996, L'Attirail became a quintet and release their first album « Musiques des Préfectures Autonomes ». This first album was quickly pointed out and enabled them to go on tour in France and abroad. The band then went on festivals, gigs and albums : from 1996 to 2004. In total the quintet released five opuses. The musicians are multiplying artistic encounters and composed three sound tracks for the feature films of Patrice Leconte, Emilie Deleuze and Claudio Tonetti. They also produced music for various performing arts shows such as « Milkday », « Jardin d’Eden », « Uncabared » …
