Annie Ebrel was born in Lohuec, in the North of Cornwall, in a farmer’s family. They would naturally speak Breton, traditionally sing with the land, and dance with accents from the “Kan Ha Diskan”. She started to dance very early as well as carried on singing with her master Marcel Le Guilloux. At the age of 14, she became the ambassador of music from the of Center Brittany all around the world. She then took part to various duos, trios and bands with some of her friends, such as Erik Marchand, Yann Fañch Kemener. Above all she played with Nolùen Le Buhé and Riccardo Del Fra, with whom she sang sometimes in French and sometimes in Breton.
