Lindigo brings together young musicians (from Madagascan backgrounds) with the charismatic author, composer and singer Harry Araste, who aims at playing a music close to his own roots. Harry was born in the Réunion. He started on stage at the age of 8. By then he would play a bit of everything in his bother’s band : the percussions, the guitar…At the age of 16, he created Lindigo. The band started to play a traditional Maloya influenced by the « Servis Kabaré » : the ceremonies dedicated to elders. Lindigo’s music is close to Trans and today points up influences from the Réunion as well as from Madagascar and India. Such as a beneficial herbal tea, the lyrics of Olivier Araste bring audiences to the countries that created the Creole culture.
